Welcome to another post on the Still in the Storm Substack.
I have good news and bad news for you.
Which do you want first?
The good news, you say?
Well, I’m going to start with the bad and end with the good.
The bad news is that I don’t have a new article for you this week.
The good news is that gives you time to get caught up on all the recent new articles and even re-read some of them.
I’m aware that most people don’t like reading books again and again but there is a truth to repetition.
There is something known as the drip-drip-drip effect.
Much of what we read or listen to just doesn’t sink in the first time through.
So, we need to immerse ourselves in it again and again.
I’m inviting you to take the time now to do just that.
Here’s a selection of my most recent articles:
I have a lot of great articles in the works so, make sure you keep an eye on your inbox in the coming weeks.
It’s imperative that we steward our bodies for the Lord as they are the Temple of the Holy Spirit.
To that end we need to understand how to take care of our bodies, how to keep them healthy and what to do when something goes wrong.
The best way to do that is by learning how the God designed our wonderful human bodies and how they work.
Yup, you guessed it. That requires learning science.
Even though we must be guided by the Spirit in all we do there is a requirement on our part to intake knowledge and then leave it to the Lord to act.
I’ve recently launched a free email course that will help you to weed through all the crazy scientific lingo in any paper.
Yes, you can become proficient in reading and evaluating scientific studies.
This is a critical skill in these times that will give you a huge leg up.
So, go to the link below and sign up to get your first lesson now:

Rev. Earl Bailey, Itinerant UMC Evangelist in Ohio, many years ago and also a Ham Radio Evangelist that broadcast to the Equitorial band around the earth known as “Word for the World” shared an answer to your question, he said:
“The Bible is like a bottomless gold mine; we just have to dig deeper to find larger nuggets.”
I’m not too busy for GOD when I intentionally make time for Him FIRST and resist the distractions the world sends to pull me away! I also have to limit my follow to a core group number as to not get over whelmed by every wind of teaching. It’s got to be Christ centered and keep me anchored to Christs sacrifice on the cross for me. GOD first everyone else comes after! To know GOD IS NOT an exercise in gaining head knowledge it Heart knowledge. One of my favorite scripture from the Words of Christ in the last chapter of His upper room discourse.
Jesus Red letter: John 17:3 “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
♥️Love love love this to keep me centered on Father GOD & The LORD JESUS Amen.🙏🏼🕊🙌❤️🔥
