Thank you, Sharon. I really appreciate that. It's all the Lord though. I take no credit myself. And, Amen to your short prayer. May His will be done. God bless you too.
There definitely seems to be a great community of Christians here. It's also imperative that we use this technology for good! Grateful to now be a subscriber. Happy 2025!
I am a newcomer to Substack but from the beginning I have found many Jesus Christ followers. I am not a writer but am grateful to read and share by restacking yours and others hearts in Christ Jesus. I appreciate you and others here thanking Jesus Christ for each of you as we take time to fellowship. Praying for this community to touch the hearts minds spirits souls and strength bringing the Peace that passes all understanding and the Joy of the Lord. God’s blessings upon blessings to you and all here.
After I post this im going to unsubscribe because I don't belong here. I went to church last Sunday and someone kicked off, this person was angrily shouting - and swearing - berating the others for ignoring them, not engaging in conversation with the m,and not even attempting to and not inviting further conversation if spoken to,for being a closed circle of "nice people" all lower middle class home owners with an Andre Rieu DVD collection)like the one I inherited from my late Mum). It was shocking and awful,it was ME. Yes,nice Jill did follow me out and try to help me but Im not going back. My body may have been physically there but I was never 'part of the community' and I never will be part of ANY community,Faith or Secular, and it's OK. God has SET ME APART and it's a lonely road, being set apart by God is not peachy and privileged,it's painful. It's only now I am on the verge of being 70 years old that I see that this world we can see and touch is the real illusion. This world is not my home.
Those nice people at church hadnt done anything wrong,or bad, they are nice people. They ignored me because I was of no interest to them. I ignore people of no interest to me. In contemporary parlance I did not feel 'seen'. Very egotistical. Their conversation after the service is about who is in hospital. What foreign holiday is booked. What is the new car make. When is so and so getting married. Etc. As a non car owning, elderly single (no kids) renter who has no cultural interests and never travels anywhere (of course) I can contribute nothing to these conversations. Which is why I am not drawn into them. Plus when God created me in my mother's womb he gave me the face of all you peooles idea of a Serial Killer notwithstanding real life serial killers always turn out to be attractive nice neighbours (or they'd never get to be SERIAL killers. It's the mode God has chosen,to set me apart.
Amen Amen! Love this Mike & I’m so thankful for you & your Christian Content as it interfaces with the Science!!! This is virtually non starter or non existent in the World let alone anti-Social Media! Truly grateful & Great Need in these times for fellowship to be physical not virtual. I’ve long time resisted my fellow Brethren on now X for calling it Twitter Church. I’ve refused not believing it to be & not glorifying the LORD. The church is the Body of True Believers in Christ. Virtual Social media can be a pit of vipers, feigned friendships or real but it’s Not reality or personal. Rant ended I’m with you brother we all need community of warm souls in Unity with the Gospel of Christ & Unity in the Spirit of Christ. Another good Word from you Brother Mike! 😇🙏🏼🕊🙌🏼🔥
This was a good reminder Mike of the reason we are all here, and still here in 2025 rather than in "heaven" where we think we are all heading, or want to be heading. But we are still in this world grappling with an enemy that tries to derail us all at every turn. That enemy usually comes from within us and is called "sin". We have yet to learn the lessons we need to learn, that we are here not to live for ourself but to live sacrificially if need be, for others. That is the great lesson that Christ taught isn't it? He showed us how to live, give, help, heal the wounds that sin has inflicted on all and be a blessing. So we are still here, until we can finally learn our lesson. Heaven cannot be until there is a people ready to live in it. So our world continues to groan under the weight of our sins and selfishness another year. When will we finally "get it" and be ready to "go home"? So it seems there are more ways than ever, more opportunities than before to share and nurture and give love to one another. To be the hands and feet of Jesus to someone who is hurting and needs to know and feel what love is. To be held and helped by the power of love. It is what this world desperately needs, and what each one of us is longing for if we are honest with ourselves. That is what "heaven" will truly be..
Amen! I remember my first few posts and no matter the topic: gardening, finances, the changing seasons God kept coming through. I wrote on one post “If you haven’t figured it out, I am a follower of Christ”. Some of those folks are no longer commenting on my posts. Although I do not have many subscribers, think I’m up to 25 😂, I feel surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ. I have gained so much more than I expected when I joined this community.
It’s so wonderful to reach other sisters and brothers in Christ regardless of how many subscribers, views, likes, etc. I’ve been surprised at how the Lord has used some of my posts. If they reach the people who need to hear it then that’s all that matters. God bless you.
I'm grateful for the opportunity I've had to write and even collaborate with other writers. I've been really blessed by the ongoing extension that Substack gives me to people from several "stages" of my life, as well as the establishing of new supportive friendships online.
I’ve also been encouraged by the amount of Christian substack there are. We are blessed to be able to easily access the thoughts and words of other Christians!
Yes, I agree. Praise the Lord. It's great to be able to put technology to good use. Not always easy these days. I hope that Christian substack continues to grow. God bless you.
A lovely article as always Mike. Keep them coming. I now don’t read a lot of articles on Substack as I found them rather unedifying, but love your musings. God bless - Terry from Scotland
Thank you for your posts. I like them because they draw me back to the Lord in the midst of a busy day.
Asking for the peace of the Lord over all of us as we go about our day, helping us to serve Him even it is only in some small way.
God bless you and your ministry.

Stop

It's very effective!
🥰
Good posts..
FYI
Chuck Missler ( now deceased) explains the deep connections between physics, chemistry, quantum mechanics, etc.
In his intro to Genesis...
Absolutely fascinating.
If one has challengers, he easily and effectively explains in laymen's terms the amazing connections.
There are 24 1 hour sessions.
I suggest one SLOWS down the 'speed' on Y-TubeAI has him literally on 'fast forward'.
This is Science Proving Biblical conversion.

This is episode 6...
The first 8 episodes focus on each day of the foundations of the 'beginning'.
Cheers!
