As hard as we try, we can never totally get our heads around the magnitude and magnificence of God’s love for us as has been poured out through the Spirit because of our being in Christ.

I do love Ephesians and Colossians, and this beautiful perspective. Spending time just soaking in these Words, it does produce the Still we need. Thank you for sharing what you learn from Him.

Me too! They are outer worldly in their revelation of Jesus Christ and who we are in Him. There is a profound still found in them. Thank you for your comment. God bless.

Before I came to know Jesus, to know Him as the living God and experience His love and my love for Him, I looked for that love in other people. The love I was longing for so deep inside me it caused great pain and disappointment in its absence. I thought something was wrong with me or wrong with other people until I experienced the love of God. Then I knew this is what I had been longing for all along. This is what I was made for.

I appreciate your article so much but do differ in opinion on one point - I don't think the wisdom God imparted to Paul is the greatest expression of God. I think the person of Jesus Christ is the greatest expression. I value what Paul wrote very highly, but I value the teachings of Jesus while He walked the earth even more. For me, His teachings are everything I need.

Though, as I said, I appreciate Paul's revelations as well but not equal to Jesus.

Thank you for sharing. I completely agree. There is something deep within us that seeks and longs for a love we cannot imagine. Most of us go in search of worldly things to satisfy it but there is only one thing that can, Jesus Christ.

As well, I didn't mean to suggest that the wisdom of God imparted to Paul was the greatest expression of God. I certainly do not. I agree with you that alone lies with Christ. Apologies for any confusion. Paul's revelations (from God) as in Ephesians are quite valuable though yet, still not equal to Jesus.

God bless you.

Am considering doing a side by side study of Ephesians and Colossians for comparative analysis.

That would be wonderful brother. Please do it. Christ the body vs Christ the head. If you do I pray that the Lord blesses you and your writing.

I was always “on the fence” regarding my faith/beliefs but when my eyes were able to see the real evil that exists, it was clear. If Satan exists then God exists. Maybe my fear brought me to him, but now I am fearless thanks to the 1st day I heard a voice in my head telling me to get on my knees. I listen to that voice now & my life has been more centered ever since having a connection to our creator. God Bless.

What you've described is an excellent explanation of why God allows Satan to exist and expounds on the statement - All things work to the glory of God. Even Satan.

Thank you for saying this. God Bless.

Yes, completely captivated & completely clinging to Him knowing He is our ONE true hope. I dig into both books regularly as well. I love your reflections. Yes, His love immense & irresistible. His voice calling. His promise is solid & sure. Keep spreading His light in the dark. I'm wrecked by Him, too. Forever changed with living hope. Thank you for sharing!

Though the Old Testament reflects first, John, as God spoke everything into existence, and Adam and Eve the first children from Eve, the spirit that God weaves into the womb…. This is that whole thing you were talking about and the connection to God and the thing that God loves about us, is because he created us even the idea of us way before anything was ever created before the spirit even was cruising across the water, it’s the thing inside of us that he loves, because that thing has our voice the way we look around the room the way we move our arms it pops out of the body when the body dies, it is separate from the body. It is something God put in the womb., that’s why when Jesus says we will come against brother and sister and separate from parents when he said who is my mother? Or my brother? Think something like that he said it is the people that believe in him., the reality is that we are only related to our family through DNA and the carbon nitrogen, physical body that decays and dies. The thing inside that pops out never dies. It is a perpetual life force that has our voice similar personality. It has no lungs no brain no DNA. It is God’s creation that belongs to God he is our only relative in that sense.. and that’s why it is vital for us to connect ourselves to God because it is actually the thing inside of us people call it a spirit or whatever, but it is actually a physical being more powerful than the human body, it’s obviously what I think is the 21 g that disappears from every death. It disappears from the body at death., 21 g that thing has weight. If people could understand that this is really the truth., it would be a little easier to understand that it is not religion, it certainly isn’t the work of Judaism in the Mosaic law, but it is the Old Testament and it pointing to Jesus since Genesis, it is the same teaching like Abraham, not doing the work, the human cannot really succeed in almost anything. It is full of sin., like each birth is not some beautiful innocent creature coming out, it is the birth of sin coming through the woman, sin comes into the world through each birth of the woman and baby, and God is desperately messaging us since day, one to be with him so that thing that he put inside of us can come home after the body dies. That thing inside of us is pure and innocent, but the sin of the body, the sin of the mind, the poison of mankind is the vehicle that we are stuck with to carry that spirit inside of us, and there are a bunch of things we need to do to make sure that when we die that thing pops out, and the portal is revealed to bring us back to God. The Old Testament is the New Testament… there is nothing new in the new testament. It is really just revealing the Torah and the fact that when you get to Exodus., the sin of man becomes so widespread, that’s where we really get the moving away of man from God’s Commandments…. The legalism the 613 laws., the rituals, the different buildings the star of David, the cross on the church. The separation of people going to their different buildings having different ideas about God….. the foolishness… the fact that people have no problem, believing in what they can see of the solar system, the planets, the things spinning around thousands of miles an hour, the sun giving your skin a tan plants, actually breathing in the stuff that we breathe out, symbiotic relationship relationships between every living creature and plant, the oxygen, the molecules, the chemical charts, the longitude latitude, the passing of time, chronological, counting of minutes and hours, the axis of the Earth, inertia gravity, dreams, prophecies supernatural occurrences, the creations that man makes including the Internet movies pictures, feelings of love, despair, heartache, the fact that no other animal creates anything or evolves other than what they do like the birds nest. It hasn’t changed in a zillion years., but the man’s cave became mansions, man’s wooden cart, became rocket ships and floating cars… but a person cannot believe that there’s something inside the body that pops out? There’s another creature inside of us that may be pops out and supernaturally gets taken through a tornado of crystalline, brightly lit, colored matter that sucks the thing back up into the clouds and back to the planet where God lives? That’s impossible.? But we have black hole holes and beautiful planets that we look at with telescopes.? Saturn has rings of gas all colored? That’s normal.? we are such fools as a species…. Like the person in alcoholics anonymous whose God of their own understanding is their emotional support shiatsu, holding it in their arms and kissing the top of his head, their spiritual God animal, helping them stay sober so they can live a godly life in their own eyes… complete lunacy….

Amen! Yes, it was out of the Father's love for us that He gave His only Son and the Son, Jesus, didn't just come to save us but rather to reveal the Father to us that we may love Him (reflect His love back). God bless you too.
