In the midst of all the man-made destruction on the planet, the out of control AI advancements, political deception and chaos, it is good to know our LORD Jesus is our eternal rock and safe harbor in the storm. He will never change.

Yes I like that THE knowing. Slowly as the scales of the blindness caused by the god of this world have fallen by the eye drops from Jesus I'm slowly knowing alright 🥰

Mike, I appreciate your raw honesty and boldness in keeping Christ the center… would love to hear how you came to understand and believe in Christ

Thank you. Appreciate that. I would say that I’ve always been or considered myself a Christian but it turns out I didn’t really understand what that meant until recently. I lost my Dad to pancreatic cancer in 2018 and turned to the Lord. Since then I’ve been on deeper journey to know Him and give my life to him. It only accelerated with COVID and my job loss. The more I learn of Jesus the more I love Him and only want to know even more. He is my all. God bless you.

So refreshing to hear a scientist speak about the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Although I am not a scientist, I have always had a love of the genre since high school physics class. I have always felt that science backs up God's revelation in the Bible. If there seems to be a conflict (6000 year age of the earth vs 14 billion years) then either we have made erroneous calculations in the science realm OR our preconceived idea of what Scripture teaches may be incorrect. For instance, if science is right about the universe being 14b years old, than the answer may not be revealed in Scripture (i.e. Maybe Adam and Eve were in the garden for 13.94b years before the fall of man, for instance). So both can be true and God is not nervous about new scientific discoveries.

Thank you, Ted. I appreciate that. And I completely agree that science backs up and reveals God in his creation, which in turn is backed up in the Bible. We have two main ways of knowing the Lord and His splendor. His Word, the Bible, and His creation, nature. God bless.

During these difficult times it is important to take the following verses (1Cor 16: 13-14) to heart:

Be on your guard;

stand firm in the faith;

be courageous;

be strong.

Do everything in love.

That was so lovely to wake up to, much needed, looking for people who share those same beliefs as I do. 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏

My two cents.

Science: where we are (knowledge)

Religion: where we want to be (values)

Governance: how we get there (methodology)
