Thank you!. A great reminder of the physical and spiritual healing ❤️🩹 we have in Christ, and how when we’re complete in Him as scripture says we are - both come together to heal our souls ..mind, will & emotions, too.
I’ve been to many hot springs over the years and yes they are highly beneficial and for all the reasons you stated. LOVE you Qued I’m on The Living Water is Christ, whether it is Hot Springs or Eden or the Word of the LORD He sends its healing properties right where they are needed! Praise GOD from whom all blessings flow!
There are many Hot Springs in mid & Eastern Oregon; but unfortunately not close to me here on the Southern Oren Coast of the Pacific. I do know the ionizing properties of the Sea Air is highly beneficial to health & esp good Brain heath. Maybe you can do a study on that Mike. GOD BLESS you brother I’m so thankful for your work!
I happen to be lucky enough to have several hot springs locations where I live…anytime we have extra money we go relax at the hot springs…until you have experienced it you just think hot water…the hot springs are very healing in every aspect and you leave floating on a cloud…god gave us these as a healing relief for mortal bodies to take refuge in and meditate and be close to him…and give him glory for the comfort he wants us to have…and it’s funny every time I’m there, I am thinking of him and thanking him for having nature provide this for us…it’s awesome!!!
Spring water, which I miss came to mind as well as cold (immersion) therapy. I miss getting my own sping water. Not only does it taste better, but there are plenty of minerals we need in it.
Granted, Lake Erie was only in the 50's but after ten minutes, the pain I had was gone.
God infused nature with healing properties. He didn't do this selectively, deciding that only some people will benefit and heal. Everyone who breaks a bone, for example, benefits from a comfrey poultice. Everyone who eats wild blueberries and herbs gains enormous benefits. Everyone who eats a diet rich in organic fruits and vegetables and low in processed food improves their health. Everyone who uses a hot spring gains something, whether physical, emotional or spiritual. Everyone who visits nature comes away better for the experience.
God wants everyone to heal - to live a healthy, happy life. Not just some lucky people. The reason that doesn't happen isn't on God. It's on the evil that allows bad health advice to flourish in our culture. The death by a thousand cuts that is toxic food, medicine, air, media and heavy metal exposure. And it's also on the individual who chooses, sadly, to keep believing in the death cult that is conventionally grown and manufactured food and conventional medicine.
Again, I see it a bit differently though perhaps it's a matter of semantics.
I would say we suffer because there is evil in the world, which is a little different than due to sin. "Sin" suggests that it's because we have sinned that God allows us to be sick. That healthy people have sinned less or repented more.
Evil results when people use their free will to make choices that harm others. Evil also results from people making bad choices out of ignorance. If God miraculously healed everyone who's sick, he'd override their free will and that of the forces that work to keep us sick. He gave us free will and he doesn't rob us of it often, though miracles of complete instantaneous healing do happen.
I, for example, experienced the miracle of being led to the health information that saved me from decades of worstening chronic illness. But I had to use my free will to completely change my diet. And it's anything but easy.
And yes, being ill and healing offered me so much in the way of spiritual growth that I couldn't have experienced otherwise.
But again, I don't see people who seek out hotsprings as "looking away from God and hoping for a miracle from water." God made the water and gave it healing properties, so whether they know that and know God or not, the healing water is there for them regardless of their religious beliefs or ideology.
Evil existed before Eve ate from the tree of knowledge. Otherwise there wouldn't have been anyone to tempt her. That must mean evil existed before human sin.
So, if you mean we suffer because Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge and therefore we were all doomed to be mortal and see both good and evil in the world (and suffer accordingly) rather than living in a paradise, then I guess we are on the same page.
But if you mean God sends suffering into our lives in the form of illness, we disagree. And I have read Job. I still disagree.
(To your aside about authenticity, we have no way of knowing how much has been left out of or added into different Bible translations. Or whose interests were served by doing so.)
Because in my view it's evil that causes most of the suffering from illness we experience here on earth in modern times. Not sin because we are born sinners or because we keep sinning. But evil acts committed by people under the sway of evil forces, some of whom know they're doing evil and some of whom don't. Are unaware doctors sinning when they inject children with the aluminum and mercury in vaccines that gives 1 in 28 autism spectrum disorders? I don't know the answer to that. But I know evil is behind it, not God. And I know doctors could do the same research many parents have been forced to do after their children were damaged.
Regardless of whether we are all God's children or not, he provided healing foods, water etc for all of us, not just those with a particular religion's way of interpreting the Bible. That, to me, is the ultimate proof of his love for us all.
Perhaps our belief systems are different and that's okay. I appreciate the discussion!
Thank you, for the information.

Beautiful rendition about the physical and the spiritual meanings behind Living Waters. Thank you Mr. Mike!
Thank you for a lovely read.

You might be getting positive effects from the cold therapy. It wakes your body up and gets it going.
You can do it in the shower or bathtub with cold water, no need for ice. Just cold enough to jolt you back alive!
I see it a bit differently.
