Spot on! Being in Christ means being in Christ!! When we sin we offend the work of the cross. When we model Christ we bring glory to Christ. There is a real “In-one another” relationship at work in our hearts. Christ in me and me in Christ. And if we are in Christ then we are right with the Father see John 17:12-23.

Thank you Mike, exactly what I have been looking for. I am a believer, I don’t write with God in my heart. 😞I write to ask for help to sort out what I have been through. Lots to digest Mike. I thank God, He has given me people in my life like you, to understand His word more deeply.

This a great post and I’ve been struggling with this a lot lately. I’m a pretty ambitious guy and want to accumulate enough wealth to raise a prosperous family one day but I get so wrapped up in my own life goals and obsess over them to the point where I lose sight of Gods will all the time. I did a lot of praying last night and after talking to God I got led to John chapter 15 where it discusses Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. I found my way back to him after reading that, hopefully I can stay grounded in Christ and not lose sight again. We’re all in this fight together!

A great post and I hope you don’t mind if I comment further. America and other free countries have become too complacent and forgot to be thankful. Our country and our lives will improve greatly when we thank God every single day for all we have. We take for granted all that He sends us to survive. We and our families have become so preoccupied with “things” especially the internet that distract us from what has been happening! We have little time left to get back to what is important. Get back to faith and family and real love. Spend more time together with family and teach them what is really important. God bless us all.

Learning each step of The Way.

So many mis-steps to boot.

About to launch into even deeper Bible Study.

The Hymn that awoke me today was…

Precious Lord Take My Hand

http://www.hymntime.com/tch/htm/p/l/t/m/pltmhand.htm

Precious Lord, take my hand,

Lead me on, let me stand,

I am tired, I am weak, I am worn;

Through the storm, through the night,

Lead me on to the light:

Refrain

Take my hand, precious Lord,

Lead me home.

When my way grows drear,

Precious Lord, linger near,

When my life is almost gone,

Hear my cry, hear my call,

Hold my hand lest I fall:

Refrain

When the darkness appears

And the night draws near,

And the day is past and gone,

At the river I stand,

Guide my feet, hold my hand:

Refrain

100% YES.

Thinking this morning about what it means to live, not to please man, but God, and not to be pleased BY man, but only by God. Fits.

"For example, have you considered that maybe God doesn’t seek to transform our circumstances but, rather to transform us."

Sometimes, God does transform our circumstances, but even when that's the case, he'll use those circumstances to transform you and those around you. There's nothing wrong with praying for our circumstances to be transformed, but sometimes God says, "No." See, for instance, Jesus praying in the garden before his crucifixion (Matthew 26, Mark 14) and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego being thrown into the fiery furnace (Daniel 3). I personally love the boys' response to the king in Daniel 3:16-18:

16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. 18 But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

God can change our circumstances, but if he doesn't, then we need to be prepared to be crucified or be thrown into the furnace. Such obedience changes the world.

By God we breathe and live and exist. This is so true.

God is kind and - there you are right - these beautiful Scriptures have been misinterpreted and detranslated and disunderstood badly like no other. The times of restoration and correction of all things are approaching.

God and man are so tightly coupled they’re inseparable. God breathes life into us. We breathe life into God. When you believe it’s a one way relationship you’ll always be a child and a victim and weak. When men breathe life into God, then we are complete.

This is where all the biblical texts are systems of oppression and control. Let’s not forget that the first authors of the Bible were slaves and masters themselves. They understood coercion, force, terror.

Yes! GOD & JESUS are in us/me & I/we are in Him by way of the Holy Spirit imputed to us! No man can open nor shut no man can pluck us out of the The LIVING GOD! 🙏🏼🕊🙌❤️‍🔥

Your words represent a new way of thinking for christian me; atheist me back in the day would have readily agreed as, back then, I thought that man had created God in his own image (I no longer hold that view).
