Welcome to another Still in the Storm Substack post.
Today, I’m taking dead aim at what I think is at the core of the issue of the vaccine mandate.
Let me be clear
I absolutely respect everyone’s ability to make their own decisions.
Whether they took the vaccine or not, the choice was theirs to make.
It’s ultimately up to you.
We may disagree with the choices that others make, especially if they are family but we still need to respect them.
I made my own choice and I stand by it.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.
I have NO regrets about not taking the vaccine.
Zero, zip, zilch.
Despite the fact that it cost my job and career.
And, even knowing exactly what the consequences would be, I would make the same decision over and over again.
I will never, ever give up and I will never be silenced.
There is too much on the line.
They just stood by and let it happen
What I am upset about is how many of those who took it, including my old coworkers, stood by and did nothing while millions of us had our lives turned upside down.
It’s unconscionable.
How can someone just stand by while their coworkers’ lives are ruined?
People worked for decades building careers and in an instant they were gone.
All because they made a choice and that choice was not respected.
And not only that but I had people telling me that I should have known better and just have taken it.
Well, I did know better.
And that’s why I didn’t take it.
I did a lot of research and a lot of praying.
I made a very well informed decision.
It all stems from fear
How was this possible, you might ask?
Fear is a powerful thing.
Many were completely captured by it.
They truly believed that they were at risk of infection with a deadly disease if everyone around them wasn’t vaccinated.
Ok, so some of that was propaganda but fear was what made it stick.
It’s amazing how selfish we become when we perceive that our lives are at risk.
Imagine how things would have gone if everyone would have acted out of love and respect for others.
The narrative would have been stopped in its tracks.
Moving forward
The bottom line is that we have to move forward from this and it has to be a place where we can respect each other and agree to disagree.
No one should be forced to take or do anything that goes against their beliefs or puts their health at risk.
These “vaccines”, specifically the mRNA ones, were not tested sufficiently.
Not even close.
Until that happens we have to remain vigilant and continue to ask questions.
We can never, ever forget what they did.
Let me know what you think in the discussion below.
Before Covid would you ever have thought that something like this could happen, and not just in America but all of the world?
Talk soon,
Mike

Fear is Satan’s greatest weapon. 🔱
We can’t do anything about the past, so I choose not to dwell on it. What’s done is done. We must move forward, in unity and with courage and strength- or it will get worse... we must each do our parts-however big or small. Wallowing in the mud just holds us stuck there. Yes I lost-job, friends, family... It sucked! BUT it has made me bolder and more courageous... meeting new people and forcing me to extend myself as never before.
We don’t have to cower and surrender to defeat.
